BBright, the French specialists in advanced media processing and technologies, worked with Dolby Laboratories, a leader in immersive entertainment experiences, to develop an unmatched HD, Full-HD, and Ultra HD contribution and monitoring professional decoder embedding Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Audio support over HDMI.
Moreover, the BBright UHD-Decode supports Dolby AC-4 pass-through and (in the coming next release) Dolby E & ED2 pass-through in order to add more customer’s use-case versatility. As of today, supported baseband outputs are quad-3G SDI, 12G SDI as well as HDMI 2.0b with future uncompressed baseband over IP (i.e., SMPTE-2110) output on the roadmap for later this year.
UHD-Decode will be deployed during several major sport competitions in the coming year.
